Guns firing like wine bottle corks shooting out of their sockets, cannons roaring like lawnmowers, bombs exploding like bubbles in a frying pan. Bodies lying on the ground like stones in a desert with nothing to do, but sit there. Sand bags leaking like water from a water slide into a swimming pool. Cries of death can be heard like sirens on police cars.
